KRITIKOS FOURNOS DAILY BAKERY

The design and construction of the new KRITIKOS FOURNOS – DAILY BAKERY store, located at the junction of 62 Martyron Avenue and Pavlou Mela Street in Heraklion, aimed to create a functional and contemporary space that combines technical expertise, aesthetics, and custom-made constructions in full harmony with the brand’s identity.
The careful selection of materials such as wood, metal, and brick shaped a warm and balanced environment, both indoors and outdoors. Customer seating areas were designed on both sides of the store, while centrally located parking spaces, bicycle parking, and a pet parking bar enhance accessibility and make the entrance clearly visible from both streets.
The interior layout allows for circular customer circulation, offering a complete view of the product range. Each product category is displayed on specially designed fixtures that serve both functional needs and aesthetic presentation.
Beyond the retail area, product preparation spaces, WC facilities (two restrooms and one accessible WC), storage, and office areas were designed following a unified decorative concept, ensuring visual clarity and cohesion. The project was completed with a detailed lighting, texture, and color study, giving the store a distinct aesthetic identity that combines quality, ergonomics, and a warm atmosphere.
