The construction of the microbiology laboratory on the main street of Gazi, Heraklion, aimed to create a modern and functional facility.
The laboratory is organized within a spacious ground-floor area, including a blood collection room, doctor’s office, waiting area, and two WCs, fully covering the requirements of a contemporary medical facility.
Large-height glazing was installed on the façade to enhance natural light and create a sense of transparency, while alternating clear and frosted glass provides privacy without reducing interior brightness.
Surfaces and joinery were selected in soft pastel tones, applied to floors, walls, and furniture, creating a calm and welcoming environment that reinforces a sense of safety and relaxation for every visitor.
