The complete renovation of a maisonette apartment in the Therissos area of Heraklion was completed with the aim of creating a modern, functional, and comfortable living space.
The design and construction focused on a full reconfiguration of the interior layout to ensure optimal use of space and to meet the contemporary needs of a family. A new bedroom with an en-suite bathroom was added, while all areas were redesigned with emphasis on ergonomics and aesthetic coherence.
All flooring and tiling were replaced, along with the plumbing and drainage systems, ensuring durability and long-term reliability. At the same time, the electrical installation was fully upgraded in accordance with modern safety and energy efficiency standards.
The renovation included the complete reconstruction of the kitchen and bathrooms, as well as the design and installation of custom-made carpentry elements such as built-in furniture and wardrobes, tailored specifically to the space. Special attention was given to lighting design and interior styling, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the home.
In terms of energy upgrades, a fan coil system with a heat pump was installed, while an energy-efficient fireplace was added, contributing both to heating performance and the overall aesthetic of the living area.
Externally, maintenance works were carried out on the roof and pergolas, ensuring long-term durability and the harmonious integration of the building within its surrounding environment.
The result is a maisonette that reflects contemporary elegance, comfort, and high energy efficiency—successfully combining functionality with refined aesthetics and offering ideal conditions for everyday living.
